Based in Cambridge the Senior Software Test Engineer will be joining an established connectivity organisation that are looking to grow their current team, due to a successful growth period. The Senior Software Test Engineer will work independently within a small software test team and also offer mentoring to more junior members of the team. This role also offers career growth with future opportunities in a lead role.

The Senior Software Test Engineer will be responsible for Software Testing within a Linux environment covering the complete life cycle from requirements capture through to release and maintenance. Other responsibilities will included Automation Testing (Jenkins or similar) and Test case development.

The successful candidate will have a good relevant degree, with a proven background in a Software Test role within an Engineering / Electronics / Embedded environment.
Other responsibilities will include:
• Automation Testing using Jenkins CI or similar
• Test Cast development using embedded software (not mobile)
• Scripting in Python, shell or similar
• An understanding of Electronics Testing through Software
• Also of interest is: GIT, SNMP and Mantis BT
