Based in Cambridge the Microfluidic Chemical Engineer will be joining and exciting company with a focus on Biotechnology. The role will involve driving and developing their world changing new technology as they more from one -off prototypes through Beta prototypes for early market testing. The Microfluidic Engineer will play a key role in designing the novel and complex processes required for synthesis. Additionally, responsibilities will focus on DNA sequencing, analysis of reaction kinetics and automated reagent delivery.
The successful candidate will have a PhD in Chemical Engineering or Synthetic Chemistry, along with proven commercial experience, including:
• Commercial experience of microfluidic, lab-on-chip and automated chemical processes
• Experience of using IQ/OQ/PQ procedures to drive validation
• Experience working with air and moisture sensitive chemistry would be beneficial.
