Based in Cambridge this successful organisation focused in the development of Photonic Technology, are looking to recruit a Head of Photonics to become an integral part and leader of their Development and Engineering Teams. Working closely with the CTO and CEO, the Head of Photonics will maintain an overview of technology trends, contribute to the roadmap and be responsible for the productivity of the engineering teams.



Key responsibilities will include: Management and delivery of product development projects; Providing Feasibility studies, costing and capacity planning; Influence and contribute to the development product portfolio; Coordinate and develop a multi-disciplinary engineering team with deep expertise in diverse technologies.



The successful candidate will have a good relevant Degree in Physics, Electronics or Engineering, with a proven background in Technical Development, moving into Technical Management, specifically:

• Some technical leadership experience with hands-on development experience, either in Physics, Optical, Photonic Integrated Circuit Design, IC Design, Semiconductors, Electronics or related engineering discipline

• Proven track record of successfully delivering complex technical projects
